Mass Effect is a science fiction action role-playing video game developed by BioWare and published by Microsoft Game Studios and Electronic Arts. It was initially released exclusively for Xbox 360, but was ported to Microsoft Windows by Demiurge Studios. It was released in November 2007 for Xbox 360, and May 2008 for PC. The game centers around an elite human soldier named Commander Shepard and his journey exploring the galaxy on a starship.
